As I prepare to attend the Premier Mailing Industry Conference in Baltimore, Maryland, I thought I would provide a little background on the event.
“2017 National Postal Forum, Make Informed Connections-Innovation-Opportunity-Success” is the headline for this year’s event. AM Solutions recently changed its tag-line to “when connections matter”
The NPF is about making connections from other industry professionals, or from within the postal service to potential new customers and vendor partners. Our connections will lead to opportunity and success.
In partnership with the United States Postal Service (USPS), the NPF is the industry’s premier educational venue, trade show and networking event. Held annually each spring, it is the only event working directly with USPS Management.
Established in 1968, the NPF is a not-for-profit educational corporation committed to a more responsive and efficient mail communications system.
The NPF Mission is to assist the USPS in building relationships with mailers and educating them in the most effective and efficient use of the products and services offered by the United States Postal Service.
Educational opportunities are endless from; Analytics, Data Processing, Leadership Skills, Mail Piece Design, Marketing to Niche Mailing, Package Shipping, Proper Addressing & Mail Acceptance, Technology, and USPS Policy & Regulations.
The 5000+ attendees consist of 4000+ industry professionals, 85% of which are potential buying customers with the mailing industry. Exhibiting companies represent another 500 attendees and the USPS will have some 500 representatives on hand as well.
In today’s high-tech world, mail remains the best way to reach prospects and customers alike. The NPF provides the ideal platform for staying on top of technology advances and trends in the rapidly changing mail and shipping industry.
I have scheduled 14+ hours of classes, sent rsvps to the various networking events, and set-up my appointments with exhibiting vendor partners, now I just hope my flight is on time.
